Welcome to the elite. You have managed to obtain a position that many would kill for. You my friend are a racer low brass player. This position is one that doesn’t come lightly, we are THE visual section. Whenever we have a hold, we will amaze the audience with are flashy and sometimes seductive ;) visuals. Therefore, leave your mediocrity at the door and prepare to be mind blown.
Hello we are your low brass section leaders, Tyler Hart and Jacob Vaughan of the 2011 Racer Band season. We are fourth and third year members of the racer band respectively. We have both served a one year term as section leader before and this will be our second year as your masters and chiefs. Tyler is a senior music education major and Jacob is a junior athletic training major. It is with this combined level of expertise that the low brass section will experience the most successful year yet. We will show the rest of the world what it means to be a member of the low brass section. So strap in lads and lassies, for this is the initial step to finding and making your destiny

Baritone Players
Racer band members are furnished marching baritones. Our goal is to find a spot for everyone on their major instrument, but there are limited numbers of spots in each section based on equipment and talent level. If we run short of instruments you maybe asked to play something else. We own 12 baritones. Members must provide their own mouthpiece.
