GREETINGS! Welcome to the 2012 Saxophone Section!
Hello! Hello! My name is Jon Mercado and I will be a co-section leader for this year’s saxophone section. I am a sophomore, currently a Mathematics Major, I’m from Paris, Tennessee, and I graduated from Henry County High School in 2011. I absolutely love music and I cannot wait for the amazing 2012 Racer Band season to begin! I’m also a member of Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia. I consider myself to be a fun, chill person and I know one thing for sure…no matter whom you are or where you come from, Racer Band 2012 will be one of the greatest experiences you’ll ever have! This past year of racer band was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had and it is hard to describe how awesome it was in words. Now I need to mention how awesome our section is. OUR SECTION IS AWESOME!!! We are the coolest section, so you did a good job picking the saxophone for racer band. The saxophone section knows how to have a good time and we are super chill. GET EXCITED!!! I can’t wait to see all of the returning faces of our section and I especially can’t wait to meet all of you new people.
