What that means is those living in Hart for the semester will put their stuff in a room in Elizabeth until Tuesday PM. They are going to try to give those effected students from Hart a private room in Elizabeth. We will try to provide assistance in moving from Elizabeth on Tuesday PM. Good news--Richmond students can store your belonging Richmond and then move in to Elizabeth until Tuesday. This dorm is almost ready, but they have approved you putting your stuff in there . Yeah! This is a Repeat of previous housing information--no changes to what had previously been posted. For those coming on the 10th-Saturday (Percussion, Guard, Officers, Head BARCS, DM's) that live in Elizabeth, White and Hester, they will be able to move into their permanent space. The rest will move into Elizabeth. This will be between 10 am and 12 noon on Saturday, August 10th. We will also allow the students who cannot move into their permanent space to put items in their permanent assignment. Please remind these students that they will pick up a key from the desk, move their items in, and then return the key to the front desk. For those coming on the 12th--Monday (Section Leaders and BARCS) that live in Elizabeth, White and Hester, they will be able to move into their permanent space. The rest will move into Elizabeth. This will be between 6pm to 8pm on Monday, August 12th. We will also allow the students who cannot move into their permanent space to put items in their permanent assignment. Please remind these students that they will pick up a key from the desk, move their items in, and then return the key to the front desk. I posted something on the leadership Facebook group that had greater detail. On the 13th(TUES), from 7pm til 9pm, we will move all students who are in temporary spaces in Elizabeth to their permanent space. The students you have coming to campus on the 10 and 12th will also be allowed to move into their permanent space that night. FYI--It costs us $35-$40 a day to have you on Campus in our pre-semester camp. What to Bring: It’s up you, but it would be wise to bring all your stuff for the semester when you come to camp. You will be moving in earlier than other regular students. Some members in the past have chosen to have their parents bring everything on Sunday, August 18th since we don’t anything until 5pm that day. That’s also when many other students arrive – it can become a traffic jam. Guard, Percussion, and Leaders living in temporary housing from August 10th-12th Bring everything with you. You will be able to store your belongings in your actual room for the fall, while living in temporary housing for 4 days. However, you should aim to pack a separate small suitcase (include bedding) to live out of for 4 days so you don’t have to take all your belongings into temporary housing. Trust us – it’s a lot easier. By showing up to camp you are saying "Yeah... I have read through calendar and agree to be at everything. To be considered for performance absence I should know about it no later than Monday the 12th.
Every member needs to read through our attendance and absences policies today @ http://www.racerband.com/absences.html http://www.racerband.com/calendar.html http://www.racerband.com/announcements/weekly-schedule-and-some-special-dates-and-times http://www.racerband.com/announcements/camp-schedule-updated-subject-to-change
