Brass Rookie Schedule WED 14th --Important Updates

BRASS ROOKIE SCHEDULE
Wednesday, August 14

8:45 AM Check-In @ 3rd Floor Lobby in Price Doyle Fine Arts (Come Here 1st)
You will be given a printed schedule and other important information at check-in

10:00 AM Trumpet/Mello Rookie Uniform Fittings @ Uniform Room at the Football Stadium

10:30 AM Trombone Rookie Uniform Fittings @ Uniform Room at the Football Stadium

11:00 AM Tuba/Euph Rookie Uniform Fittings @ Uniform Room at the Football Stadium


9-12 AM Move In: You can start moving into your dorm before you get your uniform, but you MUST go to the uniform at your assigned time. 

11:30 A.M. – 1 P.M. Lunch
(Winslow Dining Hall) Lunch available for new students and families at our “all you can eat” on campus dining hall.

IT IS CRITICAL TO ADHERE TO THIS SCHEDULE and FOLLOW THESE GUIDELINES




IF YOU DO NOT GO TO THE UNIFORM ROOM AT YOUR ASSIGNED TIME AND THE ROOM CLOSES YOU WILL NOT HAVE A UNIFORM.


UNIFORM ROOM CLOSES AT 12 P


(Our uniform room is on the Southwest Corner of the stadium--Backside of the Stadium)


Directions:
The Price Doyle Fine Arts Building is on the corner of 15th and Olive Street. Olive is thered light on 12th Street (US HWY 641) right before McDonalds. Old Fine Arts is right next to the eight-story building, straight across from the library. Check-in begins in the1st floor lobby.

Marching Shoes: All members must have WHITE band shoes, not nursing shoes or any other substitute. If you already have white band shoes, you are all set – no need to get new ones. If you need shoes, you will need to purchase a pair at check-in. The cost will be around $34.  If you need new shoes, bring cash or checks to check-in made out to Robert Kapp and Associates. All shoes will be shipped directly to Murray State and passed out at a rehearsal. All shoes must be fitted and paid for by Aug 14th. After that date, contact a Uniform Officer so we can place your own private order. (You will pay more, because of shipping/etc.) There is a huge penalty for not having the correct footwear.

Band Jackets can be 
ordered @ check in (optional purchase).

(optional purchase). ​
