Grading and Attendance Policies/Procedures

By showing up to camp you are saying "Yeah... I have read through calendar and agree to be at everything.   To be considered for performance absence I should know about it no later than  Monday the 12th.

1. Attendance
   1. To report an absence, go to racerband.com and click the “Absences” heading. More detailed information about the absence process can be found there.
   2. Your grade is tied to your attendance::
      1. 0 points for an excused absence or tardy.
      2. 2.5 points per tardy (less than 10 minutes late).
      3. 4 points per tardy (more than 10 minutes late).
      4. 10 points for an unexcused absence if a request was made and denied.
      5. 11 points for an unexcused absence if no paperwork was submitted.
   3. Grading scale: 100-90 A, 89-80 B, 79-70 C, 69-60 D, 59-0 failure
