Policies to check out
As referenced in the participating team manual, if an institution’s band and/or spirit squad is in town early enough to attend the team’s open practice, it is required to be in uniform and attend the team’s practice session. This applies only to the First Four and First/Second rounds.

Pass Gate Entry Instructions: Please list alphabetically each member of your band, all of whom must be responsible for playing an instrument. All band members will receive a wristband upon entry into the competition venue. Further information related to band entry may be found in the participating team manuals. (NOTE: Photo ID required for entry into the competition venue.)

              Know the TSA Security rules—what you can carry on
9:30       Depart from Paducah Airport
              Box lunch on plane
11:20     Arrive airport  (Pacific Time—Change your watch)
11:45      Spot bus (15 hour window starts)
12:30    Leave for hotel (or sooner)
    (SUBJECT TO CHANGE—bus will return to hotel no later than 10pm)
1:00       Arrive at the airport

2:30    Depart for Mission Beach

    Pack Light,   ...........but ...........bring clothes for 4 days
    Avoid really big bags

    Think Spring Break storage through
    When we win it means the dorms won’t be open when we get back

    Bring the 2018 Rb Pep band shirts——We will wear jeans with our shirts

    Help the Percussion Section the entire trip
    Everything is self loading
    Double check your/music/instrument/shirts

loading dock(I’ll be there to show you where)

You will Receive a meal  Per Diem for each meal

Hotel Check in
    Please make sure to have all of your room mates before you go to the room
    Take your instrument to your room--the bus is not secure
    If you have Hotel charges pay for them before we check out
    Movies/phones/etc. are turned off

No Drinking(alcohol) on bus or anytime prior to a performance!)
Obey all state/federal/local laws.
I want no hotel complaints.(could cause loss of stipend)
Any additional room charges(phone/food/movies) should be paid by you before we leave.
Be on time! I will leave you.

Each case etc. will be searched

We will go through airport security--be quiet--polite and courteous--No Jokes
The dorms will be closed when we get back!
