I will be sending bills to sparks hall for any missing uniform or instruments on Monday ******************************************************************** 11:25 Pit/Battery/Sousaphones —Clean up Storage building CLEAN OUR YOUR CASES Start to move things away from the walls ******************************************************************** 11:35 Setup stands Bring extra water (we will have water for after halftime) Percussion stands set up Pass out stand music Move all battery percussion cases outside the gates by the truck (SOUTH) MOVE music and stands to memorize America the B ******************************************************************** 11:50 Warm up —with music for America the B (MEMORIZE) Full UNIFORM Subsectionals ******************************************************************** 12:20 Full Band meeting By TRUCK 12:25 March in ******************************************************************** After Halftime EVERYONE ---Head to uniform Room Change quickly Hang up uniform correctly Head back to stands to get ready play in 2nd half (we will start playing with about 10 minutes left in 3rd quarter) Section leaders appoint other members to take care of drinks and fruit Section leaders will go through each uniform(their sections) Double check uniforms numbers Did all members bring back hangers/garment bags/shako boxes? Report problems to the uniform team Section Leaders report back to stands when this job is complete NO ONE IS DISMISSED before the end of the game ************************************************************ BARCS Can I get you guys during first quarter to sort through music stands? Get two racks of stands that have velcro on them for Bball Get 4 volunteers to take to CFSB before halftime? Ask Jon Nash to help get you in CFSB Leave rest of the stands at Storage Building ***************************************************************************** Pit Right away AFTER HALFTIME # 1Roll equipment to south end just inside the gate # 2 Go change quickly—turn in uniform #3 2 Adams Marimbas 2 Adams Vibes 2 Adams Xylophones 1 yamaha bells Bass Drums #4 Then Half of you go to the fine arts and load to MR thile's Area #4.5 The other half push the sound system and remaining electronic equipment into the old uniform room All sticks, mallets, leftover Carts,etc and all cymbals go in Storage Building. Pretend we are going to load the truck DX pads in cases Cymbals in cases etc WHEN DONE COME BACK TO THE STANDS ***************************************************************************** Battery After Game QUICKLY Store your carrier and stand neatly in the Storage Building QUICKLY Load your Drum, in it’s clean out case, into the truck—SOUTH GATE Report to fine arts to unload the truck (backside of building) Everyone must help store their own equipment Cymbals will be stored in the storage unit Move all items away from the south wall (8ft) ***************************************************************************** Guard Starting in third quarter Do inventory--put stuff away--follow your staff’s/Leadership’s instructions You will come back for the end of the game Pregame flags go in my car It is important that we do a careful and accurate inventory ****************************************************************************** Pep Band Sousaphones take your HNS to RSEC Loading Dock Ask Jon Nash to help get you in CFSB Let’s get 8 sousas has over there (be sure they all work) Bring Back the sousaphone that doesn’t work Move instruments away from the wall (8 Ft) Sousas will stay in the Storage Building in the off season ****************************************************************************** Mellos and Baritones After the game Put hns in cases Help load into Jon’s Truck Leaders help with move to CFSB and Thile’s ****************************************************************************** Storage Building Move everything to the center of the unit so that we can add shelves to the North and South walls and add power to the west wall. ****************************************************************************** KEYS LEADERS Turn in Keys to Lucas ****************************************************************************** Banquet 5pm Curris center Nov 28th We dress up a little for this (HOLIDAY SPIRIT) We will eat @ 5pm (we may change this to 4:30 due to Ball Game) A short awards ceremony And we will watch a slide show and video of both shows Banquet is usually about 75-90 minutes Comments are closed.
