Have back up plans for wake up calls Parade Should end about 10:15-10:30 RACER WALK BATTERY ONLY 10:55 am Report Battery to CFSB--the truck will meet us where the Racer Walk starts 11am Racer Walk 11:30 Battery Lunch at Racer Tent Game Yes-- sun glasses are okay 12:45 Report Bring Shako Box and Garment Bag 12:55 Warm-up (WEAR YOUR 2019 RB shirt under your uniform) 1:10 March in South Gate Concert on the track facing tent city 1:40 Pregame 2001 KY SSB— singer Alma Homecoming Court Fight song 2:00 Game starts 3:15 Halftime 2001 September In the Stone Sax Change out of uniform right after halftime--Put in garment Bag 3:30 Load Truck (PIT) After Halftime Pit and Guard may take 2nd half off--exit through concourse Pit if you open the gate--lock it back up WW/Brass Battery After Halftime we will divide sections into 3 groups (third) 2/3 of the Band will be in stands to provide a pep band at all times Each third will get a 30 minute break after half-time -exit through concourse You must be considerate and only take 30 minutes Get something to eat during this break You may leave the stadium during your break 5:30(ish) Game ends TOUR (No sun glasses for performance) BRING EXTRA WATER and SNACKS for the bus—SAVE some for the ride home You get $7 for food--they will have a deal for you Wear your 2019 RB Shirt until after the performance 5:55 Move tubas and battery from Building (Ask VP where to move them) 6:00 REPORT (We aren't sure where the bus will load due to game traffic) 6:10 Load Bus Take roll/get organized/Pass out Money once we get Rolling 6:20 Depart 8:00 Arrive in HOPtwon Go eat --your band t-shirt is your ticket to the contest 8:45 Change 9:00 Head to warm up 9:15 Warm-up 9:50 At Gate 10 PM Perform 2001 Birdland Sax Latin Cooker 11:15 Head home Take your uniform/shako/shoes/etc home Unload trucks/buses Clean buses Battery sousaphones--return equipment to storage Pit unload truck Bus Loading 1st to be loaded --battery and sousaphones Bus # 1 2 sousaphones Bus # 2 2 sousaphones Bus # 3 2 sousaphones Bus # 4 2 sousaphones Bus #5 3 sousaphones 2nd to be loaded (Your stuff goes on your bus) Uniforms --Brass--Saxes--Flag Bags--under the bus (includes Sousaphones) Hat boxes--Clarinets--Flutes------ Go on bus GOALS TODAY
Warm-up Don’t play until instructed to--no hacking We will start in Subsectional warm-ups Warm-up Tune Don’t Over Play in warm-up Review Rough Spots and ALL BODY MOVEMENT Guard --Review all work We will then get together and: TUNE Review coming on the field Hash Marks Coming off the field Buses Please help clean buses--be sure to cooperate with bus driver instructions General Instructions There are DVD on some of the buses--please nothing too much language etc. No hacking when we are there--we will tell you when to start warming up Clean your shoes etc. Be in full Uniform or no Uniform--Put your uniform away when we get home Be on time and stay with the group You represent MSU--act accordingly Watch language--be polite--etc. Be supportive and polite to all high school band performances and awards Breaking any local, state, or federal law can result in removal from the class (regardless of grade implications). No consumption or transportation of alcohol on the bus. This will result in removal from the class (regardless of grade implications).
