Instructions:
**All new percussion members should submit a video(s).**
Veterans: email your intent to return to Racer Band 2022 to your section leader if you have not already done so, Nelson Youngblood (Snare), Preston Jones (Tenors), Grace Culbreath (Bass Drum)
**All Racer Band Percussionists must have previous Marching Band Percussion experience. All battery members must be physically fit enough to carry their drum and march at tempos up to 180 bpm.**

Snare:
8 on a hand (no file) - play at 120 and 180 bpm - MARK TIME and USE MET
Set Em Up - play at 140 bpm
Paradiddles Thang - play at 150 bpm (or as close as you can get comfortably)
Tenors:
8 on a hand (not included) - play at 120 and 180 bpm - MARK TIME and USE MET
Set Em Up - play at 140 bpm
Paradiddles Thang - play at 150 bpm (or as close as you can get comfortably)
Bass Drum:
8 on a hand (not included) - play at 120 and 180 bpm - MARK TIME and USE MET
4-2-1 Timing - play at 120 bpm

- Mark time during each performance and try to set your camera to show your feet full body
- If you don’t have an instrument, pads, tabletops, etc. are fine!!!

Play a piece of your choice to display your abilities
Bass Guitar:
Play measure 77-end of the Bass Guitar Audition at 170 bpm
Play a piece of your choice to display your abilities
Guitar:
Play all of the Guitar Audition at 120 bpm
Play a piece of your choice to display your abilities
