Meet the 2022 Clarinet Section Leaders!
Hi everyone! My name is Jake Davis and I'm from Boonville, Indiana. I'm super excited to be one of your three amazing clarinet section leaders. I'm a junior majoring in Music Education and this is my third year in Racer Band. Some things to know about me are that I am a fish, cat, and axolotl dad and I love watching movies. During my time at Murray I've been able to play with the Wind Ensemble and Clarinet Choir. I'm super excited to see all the new faces and anyone that's returning. If anyone has any questions don't hesitate to contact me, I love talking to people. Let's make this a great season!
Hello, all! My name is Elizabeth Hock, and I am a junior as an English Education/Secondary Education major from the teeny-tiny town called Carlyle in southern Illinois. Some small fun facts about me include a love for making music with others, reading on rainy days, and snuggling with my cat. For someone 5' 1.5" (yes, the half matters haha), I carry a lot of energy. With that being said, I hope I can help enhance everyone's Racer Band experience! I am trilled to be returning to the Racer Band for my third year, and I cannot wait to see new faces and reconnect with familiar ones. It is an amazing privilege to serve as one of your section leaders for a second time alongside a mass of OUTSTANDING leaders. Let's crush it this season!
Hey guys! My name is Taylor Kratzer. I am a senior social work major from Tell City, Indiana (most people don’t know where this is, but it’s a small town near Owensboro, Kentucky). This upcoming season will be my fourth year of Racer Band, and I’m so excited to meet all of you! Outside of band I enjoy messing around with my art supplies, you can often catch me painting or making earrings! I’ll be living off campus this year, but if you ever need me I always have my phone on me, so don’t hesitate to text! I can’t wait to meet everyone in the fall!
