Meet the 2019 Color Guard Captains!
Hello! My name is Lindsey Hunter. I’m a junior psychology major with an applied statistics minor. I’m also interested in behavior analysis, social psychology, and experimental research. I’m from Owensboro, Kentucky and graduated from Apollo High School in 2017. I have been spinning for nearly 9 years, with 7 seasons of marching band and 5 seasons of winter guard under my belt. This year will be my third year in Racer Band and second season as one of your captains. I’ve also held leadership roles in my high school program and in Murray State University Dance Company.
I’m very excited to serve as one of your captains for the 2019 season. I already know that this season is going to be special. An essential part of this role is to assist members in any way that I can. So, if you have questions about Racer Band, Murray State, or any other matters, feel free to reach out. You can email me at firstname.lastname@example.org or text me at (270)231-5571. I look forward to meeting everyone and having a great season.
I am incredibly grateful and excited to serve as one of the captains for the Racer Band Color Guard for my second season. This sport has been central to my life since 7th grade when I first started spinning. I attended Apollo High School where I graduated with my honors diploma. I am currently a Sophomore obtaining my degree in Criminal Justice with a Philosophy minor. I plan on graduating in December 2021. My experience ranges from 6 years in middle and high school where I was captain my senior year, to one season at Music City Drum and Bugle Corps world class color guard, and to now being an instructor myself. My experiences have shaped me to become the performer I am today, all while strengthening my capabilities of being a leader. I’m very humbled to be your captain for the 2019 season and I am very excited to meet all of you! If you have any questions, feel free to text/call me at 1 (270) 608-8521 or email me at email@example.com!
