​The Summer Newsletter is designed to update and inform everyone of the exciting new season ahead. In this newsletter you will find dates for rehearsals and performances as well as details about band camp and move in day. It is important to READ the entire document and FOLLOW all instructions!

Students who plan to live in the dorms or other on-campus housing organized through the MSU Housing Office will qualify for early move-in, organized through Racer Band. The MSU Housing Office will notify all on-campus students of their permanent housing assignments on MyGate during the third week of July. Note: Rehearsals may not be missed for move-in/out!

BAND CAMP CHECK-IN LOCATION

All members should report to the 3rd Floor of the New Fine Arts Building for general band check-in. Here you will verify contact info, order marching shoes, meet your section leaders, get fitted for the uniform, and a few other things. If you plan to live on-campus, you will then proceed to your residential college to meet your BARC and check-in with your Residential Advisor. After moving in, follow the schedule based on your year/instrument. It is very important to arrive on-time so we can get a final count of members.
